Profesa Maros, born Maros Caesar Atine on 29 September 1985 in Bala, Kole, Uganda, is a celebrated Ugandan artist known for his unique blend of afropop and dancehall. Rising to fame with his 2012 hit single Abonyo Otingere, he earned a HiPipo nomination and has since released four albums, including White Sand (2024) and Citadel. With 3 HiPipo Music Awards, 9 Lango Entertainment Awards, and a 2021 Janzi Award for Cente Pe, Profesa Maros is a Northern Uganda music icon.
